Landgard is a marketing organisation exclusive for wholesalers and retail sales of the "Green business". The Rhineland Area, in the heart of Europe, is our birth place. Landgard Obst & Gemüse GmbH & Co. KG established there as a subsidiary of two successful suppliers. One is the Centralmarkt Rheinland, which comes from Roisdorf in the Bonn area; the other one is the NBV/UGA from Straelen.
These two suppliers are closely associated with the development of the Rhineland, which has turned from an economically underdeveloped area into the most productive horticultural region in Germany. | | Three factors were crucial here: The advantageous climate and ground conditions, innovations of many horticultural businesses and a strong orientation toward a co-operative sales strategy.
The merger of the two traditional suppliers in the area of fruit and vegetables has the following goals: By bundling the products and lowering the prices we provide gardeners with a high sales guarantee and customers with an attractive offer range. | | |
